Proper Drainage includes multiple legs or runs. Removing all the soil and installing a minimum of 4" corrugated pipe. The stone should goto the top of the trench and no soil should be added. By putting soil over top of the stone, the drain can no longer take in surface water, thus sealing off all drain.
